Hi, my name is Allison and I live on the east coast of Canada, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I've always loved doing crafts, but about 2 years ago a friend got me interested in making jewelry - and I've been hooked ever since! I love creating pretty pieces - earrings, bracelets and necklaces - jewelry that looks lovely, and makes us look and feel lovely too! I use high quality materials for all of my designs - I work with sterling silver, Swarovski crystals, semi-precious gemstones, lampwork glass and freshwater pearls, all in an array of beautiful, shimmering colours.
With the encouragement of friends of Bead Unique on Etsy and eBay, I have set up my Blog. Here I plan to talk about my jewelry and post new pieces that I make. I sell my jewelry on Etsy, so please check out what I have to offer at Butterfly Gems.
